Motorola Edge 40 with Dimensity 8020, 50MP camera launched


Motorola Edge 40 is now official. Motorola has expanded its edge series of smartphones with the launch of Motorola Edge 40 in .
The smartphone is powered by a MediaTek chipset and runs Android 13 operating system. The smartphone sports an pOLED display and it comes with a water and dust-resistant design.
The Motorola Edge 40 is priced at 599.99 Euros (Rs 51,150) and it comes in Eclipse Black, Nebula Green and Lunar Blue colour options. The smartphone will go on sale in Europe in coming days. The smartphone maker has not yet revealed the India launch and availablity details of the smartphone.
Motorola Edge 40 specifications
Motorola Edge 40 features a 6.55-inch FHD+ pOLED display with 1080×2400 pixel resolution. The display offers up to 144Hz refresh rate and up to 1200 nits of peak brightness.
The premium Motorola smartphone is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 8020 chipset paired with 8GB of RAM. The smartphone offers 256GB internal storage. Motorola Edge 40 comes with dual SIM support and runs Android 13 operating system.
The smartphone sports a dual rear camera with 50MP main sensor with f/1.4 aperture and 13MP ultra-wide angle lens with f/2.2 aperture and LED flash. The front of the smartphone is home to a 32MP selfie shooter with f/2.4 aperture.
Motorola Edge 40 comes with stereo speakers tuned by Dolby Atmos and three microphones. The smartphone comes with IP68 rating which makes it water and dust-resistant. The smartphone is backed by a 4,600 mAh battery with 68W TurboFast charging, 15W wireless charging and 5W reverse wireless charging support.
