Nothing drops the first teaser of Phone (2): What to expect

Nothing Phone (2), the successor to Phone (1) from Carl Pei’s second venture, Nothing, is coming this summer.
First teased at MWC 2023, the Phone (2) will debut this summer, confirmed the company. While we still await the date, it could be unveiled sometime between June and August.
Nothing did not divulge much into the details, but the company did share a small teaser giving us a sneak peek at its upcoming smartphone. And from the teaser, it looks like the Phone (2) will stick to the Glyph interface, similar to Phone (1), with a transparent design.

The company has been emphasising a lot on the ‘premium’ experience it wants to deliver with the Phone (2). Pei has already said that the Phone (2) will be a ‘more premium’ offering than its predecessor, saying that the “leap in power and performance” will come at a premium.
At MWC 2023, Nothing extended its partnership with Qualcomm, confirming that the upcoming Phone (2) will come with a Snapdragon 8 Gen series chipset. While nothing is confirmed as of now, the rumours are rife that the Phone (2) will be powered by Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset. While it is still a year-old chipset, it is an upgrade over the Snapdragon 778G+ inside the Phone (1).
In an interview, Pei said that Nothing is putting significant investments into software development, and it is working heavily on software for the Phone 2.
Earlier rumours had suggested a launch window between July and September, the summer season. So, this release timing coincides with the first anniversary of the Phone 1.
Just like Pei does every time, we expect Nothing to reveal more details about the Phone (2) in the coming days, learning how ‘premium’ will the Nothing Phone (2) be.
