Vivo to soon launch T2x 5G and T2 5G smartphones in India


Vivo is expected to expand its T-series lineup with the launch of new smartphones this year. Currently, the lineup includes T1, T1 5G and T1 Pro smartphones and the smartphone brand is soon expected to launch the T2 series models. A new report by Gizmochina suggests that the upcoming Vivo T2 series phones are expected to launch in mid-April in India. The new handsets, according to the report, have surfaced in the Google Supported Devices list.
Vivo T2 series to include two models
According to the report, the Vivo T2 series will include two modes — Vivo T2 5G and Vivo T2x 5G. The Google Supported Device list includes two smartphones from Vivo with model numbers V2222 and V2225 which coincides with previous rumours and leaks about the two smartphones. The handsets have previously surfaced on Play Console in February and March. All this listings of the phone suggest the imminent launch of the upcoming Vivo T2 series phones.
Vivo T2 series: Leaked specifications
The Play Console listing of the phone revealed that both T2 5G and T2x 5G are likely to share the specifications sheet. As per the console listing, the handsets are expected to come with an FHD+ display, 8GB RAM and 128GB onboard storage. The handsets also run Android 13 operating system. Now, it is sure that Vivo will add its own FunTouch OS on top of it.
The Vivo T2 5G is expected to be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 chipset, while the T2x is speculated to be powered by MediaTek Dimensity 700 SoC.
In terms of pricing, the Vivo T2 series phones are expected to launch in under Rs 20,000 price bracket in India.
